Default Hood handle

How can I adapt H2 hood handle to fit an H3? There is a bad gap on one end. I rather there be no gap. Anyone have sugestion before I throw them in the trash?

Obviously not a lot of people seeing the pressing need for hood handles on the H3. Oh well.

I dont understand the need for them myself. The hood does not open backwards like the H2 does, so what is the point?

Groundpounder,
A bench grinder works well for large gaps. Bastard files close smaller offsets...

I did this 18 months ago and it still looks a works great. Follow the thread (HAS PICS AS WELL).
Install was easy. Here is what you need to do.

1- Get (2) Black H2 Handles from your local dealer (FREE)

2-Take off your H3 Hood Panel

3- Grind off the mounting screws on the bottom of the H2 Handles or remove and replace (I grinded them, it seemed to keep the Handle mre solid)

4- Mark your H3 Panel for Drill and Drill your 4 Holes for the Handles
(2 Holes on each Side)

5- Install your handles by screws from the bottom with Drywall, Metal or wood screws.

6- The Top will be flush mount but the bottom will be raised a bit, I bought black silicone and filled in the gap to make it look flush.

7- Put the Panel Back on and you are done.

******INSTALL TIME IS LESS THAN 30 MINUTES******
