Never thought of that Seth...it had to take at least 3 people to get that thing loaded like that I would think. Unless the trailer had some serious issues like a blown tire, or a bad weld on the axle or something it definately would have made more sense to pull it.
Actually...does that truck have a trailer hitch? Maybe that is why?

Sure...maybe he bought it for someone else...as a present or something, and then realized "sh1t, I dont have a hitch to get it to Billy Bob's place with"...so the next best option was to load it in the back. Makes sense to me. |

Maybe the truck didnt have a trailer hitch, maybe the trailer wasnt registered, maybe the trailer didnt have working lights , maybe a wheel bearing went bad , maybe it was a toll highway and he was saving money, maybe a wifey was driving the truck and didnt dare to tow a trailer, maybe the truck had the wrong size ball, maybe it had a flat tire, maybe he was towing another trailer earlier, oh well just some things i was thinking of when i saw that pic.
