Anyone replace the factory fog lights with a better grade bulb, like the "bright or extreme white" types? Someone on EBay was selling some, but I see they are no longer posted. I'm looking for better light penetration and a clean, crisp, bright light, not the dull factory light. Any part#, mfg, etc., is greatly appreciated.

I need to check the sizes of lights for the headlights/fog lights, but I will probably do a replacement with Sylvania SilverStar lights. They are an affordable replacement that work pretty well, I had a set in my Wrangler and really liked them.

I'm no electrical expert, but be careful -- I've heard of a few people frying the wiring w/ upgraded lamps in those...

Thanks for input. I always get envious when I see those Xenon or other HID lights go by. They really light it up! And seeing that I will be living in near total darkness up here in another 2 months, thats a good thing!
Thanks all

only if u go with a high amp bulb. silverstars are the same wattage so the amp draw is the same. on Vettes it was common to replace the 37W fog lamp bulbs with 50W and this small increase in amps did not affect the wiring.
if you plan on installing high wattage bulbs then I highly recommend using a relay controlled by the fog lamp switch and power directly off the battery using the appropriate gauge wire and a fuse as close to the source of the power as possible
