Here is the 3M kit that we sell. The part # is from 3M so you can use that as a reference anywhere.

1400 to "saran wrap" your car? I'm all about taking care of the paint but thats a bit much for me. I guess if you did a LOT of off roading and was kicking up rocks all the time I could see spending that much.

I agree, but i think he did the whole vehicle and paid labor for his shop to do it. I just want to do the rear flares and maybe the hood.
How much? anyone know?

from what i hear its not that easy putting this stuff on right. especially a bigger area. if ur goona do it urself take ur time.
i have this stuff on my lotus elise and its worth every penny.
i have the rancho kit on my h3 so my tires stick out beyond the fenders....again, its worth it, at least to me.

If you do a lot of off-roading you'll soon stop worrying about the scratches and dents.

That 299 for the front and 299 for the back is installed for us here. I would want to have someone install it that has experience doing these things. It is kind of like window tint in that your probably could do it but the best results will be by a professional.

Stuff works, I had it installed on the front of my '03 Vette, and almost 40K miles later, when I sold it, the front end looked new.
As for installation, if you were installing on a H3 door panel that is flat, it is easy. However, you really run into problems when installing on curved surfaces such as around the front of the rear fender flares.
As in the front of a Vette, those curves are hell to form the stuff around, and you need patience (something I lack), and experience.
I'm still looking for someplace in the Detroit area that installs this stuff, I want some for the front of the rear fender flares.
In this state, you don't need it for off-roading, you need it for driving the roads that are falling apart, and the road crews put cold patch (asphalt and rock) into the holes, and use your vehicle as the piece of equipment that levels the cold patch. I throw up more rocks on my way to work in the morning, then I do on 20 miles of Utah desert roads.
