Default 12V socket not working

I am trying to plug in GPS on the front console 12V accessory socket and it seems there is no power. Cigarrette lighter works, no fuse blown, but the other two 12V socket does not seems have power. Where can I look elsewhere to find what the cause is?

they may have not been plugged back in if the center console was taken apart for audio/video work or they may have a seperate fuse for those outlets. ill take a look.

Have you tried another accessory?

The sockets lengths will be different and you may not be getting the ground or postive fully engaged.

Also - The cigeratte socket will have a larger fuse (more amps) then the 12V sockets.

I have tried few different accessories to see if it work. None of them works on the front center console. Back ones (rear) are fine. I did check the fuse box inside the hood and looks nothing is burnt.

Did you figure out what was the problem? me the front ones are not working ...rear passenger one is working...and trunk is working ...no fuses burnt and eveyrthing is plugged in....

I was running a inverter with my xbox360 they all worked and then all of a sudden nothign and the one thats working seems like it doesnt have enough power to run the xbox360.

I had a chance to pull out the center trim to install NAV unit and found the plug was not fully engaged. It is all fine now...
