Default No XM on my H3....HELP!

Hi folks! New to the Hummer community. I just bought one last night.

Question about the H3 radio, The dealer I went to only had 2 vehicles w/o leather in the Adventure Package. Unfortunate part is that they did not have XM on them and coming from a car that I traded in I will certainly miss it.

To my question, Is the radio that comes with these XM Ready or do I need to have the dealer install a complete new XM system? Is there anywhere else I can go to get this installed other than the dealer? Last question, what is the ballpark price of this?

Thx for any help concerning this.

Get the Terk GM Direct kit. Costs around $100, works like a champ.

I think The Radio in H-3 is compatible to accept XM. I have the monsoon and it works with all the radios features, including putting the titles in the display. I'd ask your dealer before I would put in a aftermarket thing. It sounds as good if not better than FM.

All H3s are XM ready. The only difference is an XM antenna and the cable that attaches it to the radio, which is what that Terk kit includes.
