Rancho 9000's
I bought my Rancho 9000 shocks today Having them put on Wednesday!!!
But I have to tell you, getting thru the discussion at 4wheelparts was incredibly laborious
First I was told my 35's would not fit...I said..."go take a look".
Then I was told and argued with, that my truck was actually a Trailblazer
I was asked when looking up the part # for the Rancho's, if my truck had "air ride" in the back??? WTF?? I said "no, I'm sorry, it's an H3, you must be confusing it with an H2??". He said, "we've had a couple of H3's in here with air ride suspensions in the back"
He also said, that how I could have gone 36k on OEM shocks was impossible. "OEM shocks are all crap, I don't care how much you spent on that Hummer."
WHATEVER!!!
Next question, do I trust them to install my shocks?? It's a simple enough job, but sheesh. Hopefully the monkeys in the back know what they are doing.

Yep. I would be. Lets us know how you like the ride.
Did you get the regular Rancho 9000 or did you get the 9000 pro's that you can adjust from inside the cab?

the RS9000X
They sell a separate device that you can wire to adjust from inside. I'm sure I'd rather reach in and adjust them by hand. But if it becomes a PITA, I'll get the remote control.

Sorry been awhile since I looked at them.
I really want to know how like those ride. I have been thinking about getting those same ones for my H3, with the controller. I would just need to figure out to put it.

Re: Rancho 9000's
I'll send your message to my "higher up freind" at 4 WHeel Parts. Sounds like the guy that was helping you is a total Fing Tard.
You'll love the Rancho's. I went wheeling today for the second time with them. SWEEEEEEEEEEET! I can't post pics anymore with my laptop. IT BS won't let me download the software. RARRRRRR!!111
I'm sure the others will post some.
I left the Rancho's at 7 front/ 6 rear. That's what they are set at for the road with my 35's and work great. Less body roll and doesn't jar you on the washboard bumps.
The one thing I forgot to mention is the rust that appears by the switch where you adjust the numbers. I have gotten this on all my Rancho shocks. I think it's due to not thoroughly cleaning them though. Other than that they get a +1 from me!

Hey Timgco,
I think all you have to do is allow pop ups from this site in order to upload pics. Hope this helps.
