MY TRANSMISSION TEMP GUAGE NEVER READS OVER 103 DEGREES. IS THIS NORMAL?

That is right about where mine is on the road, maybe a little higher. I ran an off-road trail up in the mountains (well, we call them mountians here in San Diego, but my Colorado friend takes exception to that!) last weekend and it was hovering around 150 for a while.

At freeway speeds over long distance, no trailering, my gauge climbs and holds steady at 125
