even though i dont have the advantage package can i still put those 285s on after the 265's are used...will they fit ok on those rims and will there be enough clearance

Yes, they will fit, and there will be clearance. However, your speedo will be off by about 3 mph at 70 mph.
This I will be guessing at, since I have not put a Tech 2 on my H3 (or any other H3)...YET (I will), but I would bet that to change the speedo (and odometer) to match the 285 tires, all it takes is to flip a bit in the PCM. This can usually be done via the Tech 2, and the dealer will charge for this service.
If no one else can give you an answer, call your dealer.

do you know what that should cost???? And is it something i should do so the computer dosnt flip out, because i dont really mind it a little off, I rarly look at the speedometer anyway...I just have to be first....

Love your attitude. Most dealers will charge a minimum of 1 hour for even five minutes of work. Actual time is about 5-15 minutes, depending on if the PCM will require a complete calibration download to "flip the bit."
It should not harm any of the computers, or their operation.
