Has anybody figured out or installed a reverse warning system on their H3? I have found none of the warning systems can be calibrated to work with the spare tire. I have a camera on the rear, but also want the reverse warning system.

The Kenwood deck I had installed has a 6.5" or 7" screen. It looks very similar to the NAV SYSTEM option Hummer offers. The camera is a direct input to 1 channel of the deck.

The deck is all inclusive: DVD player, CD player, Sirius radio, AM/FM tuner, NAV System and camera.

I pulled out the original Hummer radio and this took its place

Is the camera mounted on the roof to see over the spare tire or is it a hitch cam?

They mounted it under the hitch, so it is looking level and up. I wanted it mounted on the roof, but then the angles wouldn't be correct and I wouldn't be able to accurately gage the distance between my H3 and the car behind me.

Sharkman, what Kenwood unit did you install? Do you have any pictures? How do you like it?

I am considering a Kenwood DDX8017 for my H3.

I installed the KenWood KNA-DV3100 Navigation System and the KenWood DDX6017 Monitor w/ DVD Receiver (the Deck).

I LOVE the system that was installed. No complaints whatsoever.
