BlueHUMMERH2 is on a distinguished road
Default 2005 Fatality Facts

Full listing here.

So most of us are probably driving some of the safest vehicles on the road. Size and weight still seem to matter.

Driver deaths per million registered passenger vehicles 1-3 years old, 2005:
Vehicle, size/rate

Cars
Mini 144
Small 106
Midsize 70
Large 67
Very large 44

Pickups
Small 122
Large 104
Very large 101

SUVs
Small 60
Midsize 57
Large 48
Very large 24

So basically, if I read the stats right, you'd have to be driving an Audi A8, MB S, or BMW 7 to gain the same realitive safety as any Hummer SUV.
