painted wheels " holding up "

ok my fellow HOAB's i have been asked from a few of you how the wheels are doing . it has been over three months now , I have had them in moab and big bear , thats where they got scratched mostly from the boulder fields in big bear and one from falling off the wall on hells gate


i will post some pix of how they looked before i scratched them and then pix of damage

first damage from hells , if not for the 35's i would of taken out both fenders and probably both wheels

last one drivers front least amount of damage small scuff on lip

So except for the abuse to the wheels, the paint seems to be holding up well. Thanks

i actually like the scrapes and the scratches on my rocker bars too

Are you planning to touch them up...or just leave 'em as your "true wheeler evidence"?

yea dave , they are doin fine , i do not go to car washes . they may mess them up some with the brushes . just wash by hand , i think i will be able to go a whole year then will touch them up probably will scuff and repaint whole wheel then just glad we dont get the big chips taken out like powder coat can chip

less than 2 weeks till pismo havent had them in sand yet

Actully looks good with some wear. Honestly, what good is it to beef up a truck and then take it to the mall. Them lockers aren't for speed bumps!

Bling is like cancer an Hummers, you think its gone,but it seems to just resurface.

I wish they would just offer the wheels black from the factory.

Damn, have a little trouble getting that wheel balanced
Did all those weights lower your MPG

there are even more on the inside of wheels , its not the tires that lower the mileage its the weights

Thanks for the pics. Overall it looks like they're holding up great (You can't blame paint for loosing in the fight of paint vs. rock )
