Default stripping chrome off front grille

anything easier than sanding it down to the bare plastic? will naval jelly eat the plastic grill, i know it will take chrome off sockets.

I don't know for sure, since we usually use a tumbler to de-chrome or just send out to the chromer to de-chrome. I would think the navel jelly would melt the plastic. What are you trying to do, strip to paint?

yes, i want to paint it, and i don't want it to look like crap after the first trip down the freeway.

LineX or plasticoating are you're only two options than. Many of us have tried painting and it chips. The lineX or plasticoat can be done in many colors. Good luck.

X2 on Tim's post. Line-X has worked great for us and many others on the forum.
