Question Changing rear bumper to a hitch bumper

I want to change my hitchless bumper to a factory hitch bumper.
Does anyone have the part # for the hitch bumper and can it be swaped over to a H3 with a regular bumper without a hitch?.

It looks like the factory hitch is part of the bumper so I figure it should be a easy swap, Any Ideas?

When I ordered my 3, the dealer said changing out the non-hitch for a hitch bumper was a pain. Don't know if he was talking out his a$$, but I went with it.

Is yours pre-wired for trailer lighting? Hope you don't have to run wiring all the way back.

All H3,s have a cluster of wires behind of bumper for trailer lights so thats not a problem ,there caped off with heat shrink located on the left side toward the top of bumper.
I looked at a factory hitch bumper ,it seems all one piece.Just reuse the plastic top,lic plate light, tow hooks ect.

I would need the part # of the bumper to check the price.
I would also like to confirm the bumper comes complete with the hitch.

From what I can see it looks very doable

The bumper (with hitch hole) alone is around $300 plus the hitch part.

I found a note I made from a previous thread that the Gm part # for bumper with opening is 15267387.Whoever ordered one never said if it was complete ?. I guess that it doesnt come with the hitch part.
Anyone have correct #'s for the set.

I didnt think I would need the hitch when purchased stupid of me.
All H3's should have come with a hitch from the factory.

I got my H3 without the hitch bumper from the factory. I just got a hitch off ebay and bolted it on. Took about 10min to bolt it on. It sits right under the factory bumper. You dont loose too much ground clearance. I go wheeling all the time and have yet to hit it.
