Default 4th of July

What are your plans?

We will be heading to the Eastern Shore for some clams and picnic food on a beautiful waterfront lawn. Hanging out with family.

We bought lots o Crackas in Tennesee when we went there on vacation in the fall. Big Boomers and little explosives that are illegal here- so it should be fun.

I'm boiling potatoes for Potato Salad as I type.

I love this Holiday!!!

HAVE A GOOD ONE!

We'll be hanging out at our lake house in Indiana. Hubby will probably do some fishing. I'm hoping to relax and maybe read a book. It's supposed to rain tomorrow. I'm hoping the weatherman is wrong - the fireworks out there are usually pretty awesome.

Happy 4th everyone!!!

6pm BBQ at a friend's house about 4 miles away is planned for us. At 9pm we return home to watch the downtown San Jose firework show from our deck. Then back to work on Thursday.

Wishing everybody a happy and safe holiday!

Going to watch 4 sets of fireworks from Camp Smith, HI. You get to see the fireworks from Ewa Beach, Pearl Harbor, Hickam AFB and Ala Moana. It has a great view of Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial. Here are a couple of shots from work.

My friend is roasting a pig - yes the whole pig. And I think we're playing sloshball in the morning. So meat, beer and explosives for me. It doesn't get more American than that. Good thing its all within stumbling distance.
