Had a similar problem with my remote after having a short that ran my battery down. After the short was fixed and a new battery installed the problem seemed to correct itself after a few days. Maybe similar to the rolling codes used by garage door openers and the remote and H2 have to sync back up?

You may have set a low voltage code in a module which may have turned the light on. It should clear after a few fault free ignition cycles and clear from history after 50 fault free ign cycles. As for your key fobs, not real sure but may want to try a new battery in the fob.
