Last nite, I flew from Nashville, to Raleigh-Durham airport, checked into a LaQuinta, and got a good nite's sleep. I got a call from Dave, the guy I was buying the H2 from, at 9am. He picked me up (not in the H2), and drove me to his house, and there it was, looking perfect. We took it to Hendricks Hummer, where I had it inspected (for $20), bought a couple of hats, got directions to I 40, said my farewells, and headed to Nashville (560 miles).
My first impression was remembering the Toyota troublemaker on this website, who called the H2 a Tahoe. IF THIS VEHICLE IS A TAHOE, THEN PETE SAMPRAS IS JUST A GUY WHO OWNS A TENNIS RACKET.
I thoroughly enjoyed my drive home, especially the last 20 miles of I40 in North Carolina, as you're approaching the Tennessee border....man, that stretch of interstate would be a great place to check your cornering skills.....or better yet, I'd like to try it on a motorcycle, with no troopers around!!!!

As far as off-roading places in or near Nashville, try calling Tennessee Off-Road....they're an outfit that does a bunch of modifying to Jeeps, and they go out offroading with their clients on weekends....they'll have plenty of ideas.

I can't wait to take this ride to Summit County, in Colorado!!!!!

It looks like you have added the H2 to a list of already cool vehicles. Enjoy and get that sucker dirty before you get attached to the paint job too much.

I am about to make a similar drive this weekend. I am going to Charlotte to pick up an 04 with the nav and the works. But making a nice lil stop in Knoxville (GO VOLS). Hope to see yours around Nashville.

I hear you on I-40 from Asheville to Knoxville. I will be at the TN-SC game this weekend. Maybe I'll see your 04 H2 there!
