The H3 just looks "right" with a lift. No more crouching bug look!

When I bought the H3 I asked the salesman to work the lift into the deal. He told me that a lift would void the manufacturer's warranty on the complete drivetrain. Is this true?

That's really up to your service manager. the susp. parts will loose their warranty. They may say other things with larger tires. I would say to talk with your service manager and if he sais go ahead, have him put it in writing just incase. Good luck,
Tim

Sorry folks, but the wheels are way to big!
I think it looks funny, to much bling. It's a 4x4 not a lowrider
Maybe 18" wheels, but no bigger.

I'm with jp on this one, 16 or 17 is the largest rim I can take.

That is the best looking H3 I've seen. I want one. Just with smaller wheels.

I'm with you guys, it needs "meatier" tires...say 35/12.50-18 Toyo Open Country Mud Tires!

The boys at Les Schwab tire are putting on a set with the right off set on my wife's rig this Friday to see if the 35's will fit without a lift. If it does, I'll order the MKW M18 wheels that I like. Can't wait!

BTW, the back end looks stock. Can one do a suspension lift only in the front? I'm not talking about torsion key's either. I think a proper lift only in the front will make a world of difference. Look at the pic again, the back doesn't look lifted at all.

Looks like it needs an alignment and some proper offset wheels with Some nice 35" tires.

Why do people have to take one of the most capable stock 4x4's and make it into a lowrider. Kinda reminds me of the Suzuki Samurai days.

I am glad the H3 comes stock with 16" wheels(I miss 15") that look decent.

Is it just me or does all that chrome and the big wheels make it hard to visualize? It's kind of distracting to me. A blacked out H3 wit 16" wheels would really show off the lift.

Looking MUCH better, but the wheels are still too big IMO.

I don't prefer chrome on TRUCKS (except the grill), but it looks much better when the mirrors are left black and only the door handles are chrome.

I can see the increased the heigth, but I think the wheels an tires are creating an optical illusion for me.

Damn I like it! Loose some of the chrome and smaller wheels/bigger tires and you have a winner in my book.

There is an obvious difference in ground clearance.
