Default Rear Marker Lite Cam Q

Can anyone who has installed the reverse camera at the rear marker lite indicate where you ran the wires?

I.e. - from the rear hatch to the body
- from the rear to the front
- where did you take power from
- any time saving advice??

install is done but....does anyone know an underdash wire thats hot when in reverse and can you ID...like green wire or red wire??

I know factory backup camera is blue .
