4th of July
What are your plans?
We will be heading to the Eastern Shore for some clams and picnic food on a beautiful waterfront lawn. Hanging out with family.
We bought lots o Crackas in Tennesee when we went there on vacation in the fall. Big Boomers and little explosives that are illegal here- so it should be fun.
I'm boiling potatoes for Potato Salad as I type.
I love this Holiday!!!
HAVE A GOOD ONE!

Re: 4th of July
We'll be hanging out at our lake house in Indiana. Hubby will probably do some fishing. I'm hoping to relax and maybe read a book. It's supposed to rain tomorrow. I'm hoping the weatherman is wrong - the fireworks out there are usually pretty awesome.
Happy 4th everyone!!!

I will be on the plane flying back on USAIR flight #1189 to FL. I sure hope no towell head decides to make mine into a firework. That would surely ruin the day!
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE..
O by the way Dad is doing alot better than I thought, I fianally got him to get into a wheelchair. That was huge, he has this hang up about those. I think he thinks it makes him less a Man. Nonsense, not in my eyes, he is my Hero and the man that had to put up with my crazy arse. So thanks everyone for all your thoughts and prayers, thank you thank you!

Re: 4th of July
Going to watch 4 sets of fireworks from Camp Smith, HI. You get to see the fireworks from Ewa Beach, Pearl Harbor, Hickam AFB and Ala Moana. It has a great view of Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial. Here are a couple of shots from work.
This one is with a 400mm lens
This one is from the 4th of July 06.

Re: 4th of July
My friend is roasting a pig - yes the whole pig. And I think we're playing sloshball in the morning. So meat, beer and explosives for me. It doesn't get more American than that. Good thing its all within stumbling distance.
