Hey all,

I have found alot of incomplete information on installing after market 6 disk changers with the H2 SUV Nav system from about a year ago. I was not able to find a post on here with a good solution I don't think????

Can someone let me know if a "best" method has come about to install a 6 disk changer that will be compatible with the XM radio, the Nav system, and hopefully on screen controls?

THANKS!

THANKS !!! Do you know if that will support CD-R's MP3's or if there is anything else I need to know about it before picking it up?

Will that not give me any problems with the XM?

THANKS!!!

The changer will not play MP3s, and it will not interfere with your XM. You will get an additional screen on your NAV system to control the changer.

I am assuming that the steering wheel controls will work with the new CD changer, as well? And, that you can toggle between the NAV and CD changer, as you could the single?

Thanks, Klaus -- you are certainly the electronics guru here!

LoLo,

Yes, the steering wheel controls will work fine, just like they do in the Escalade or the Yukon Denali with the factory installed external CD Changer.

The best addition IMO is the GM XM Kit. I hardly play CDs anymore when on a trip.
