Does it seem strange to anyone else how Hummer puts features in and then takes them out??? Wonder what is the reasoning??? At the price of the H2 it deserves a quality sound system for example. And express windows....that should be a given.

Express open sunroof? Nice.
The antenna mount still sucks.
But enough reason to trade up. Good write up 89.

Express open I can see. But isn't express close illegal for safety reasons?

Some upper end vehicles have express close on everything ... they (oem) just have to have a feature built in that when it senses a finger or something holding keeping it from closing it goes back down.....

You're right! I just tried it and while closing I put my hand in front. When it sensed resistance, it opened back up.

One of my sales people at Lexus was demonstrating that feature to a customer and he kept holding the button and in that case it still trys to close and hurts bad,, but it was good for a laugh...

Good write up. I have the same slip yoke problem. Never had it in my Fords. It's enough to drive me batty! I wonder why the GM engineer didn't know about it? Maybe we should start emailing GM everytime we present the dealer with a new problem.
It sounds like they don't know weather to make it nicer, and charge a little more, or to try and cut costs and keep the price the same. Do they want it to be luxury? or not?
I haven't had any trouble with the 03. I wouldn't trade at this point. I'm not done blingin it up! DID YA HEAR THAT DRTYFN? I'M NOT DONE WITH THE BLING!!!

A little bit of black paint will do the trick.

Count my '05 as one that doesn't have it. I didn't even know that some had it before this thread was started, and thought it was maybe an SUV vs. SUT issue.
