16.5" H1 HMMWV wheels installed
I finally got my HMMWV 37 x 12.50 R16.5 tires and wheels put on my H2. Tires are Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Dura wall tires w/ puncture resistant sidewalls. Wheels are 24 bolt H1 military wheels w/ new style run flats installed.
These beasts weighed 172lbs per wheel. I also have a 5th one that I am going to mount on my rear swing arm tire carrier once I get it put on.
I had 37 x 13.5 R18 Mickey Thompson on here for a few years. These new tires ride much smoother & turn easier.

It's so bad ass, but I am so divided right now.
I want, but man, 172lbs, the advantage you gain from having $400 set of almost new 37s you lose in the amount of money you spend on replacing front end parts.
I'mma thinkin maybe I'll get both these, and some new stockers

Thanks man! I get a lot of looks in it.Live for the NOW... go for it! I unfortunately don't have my stock rims from the PO. My 37 x 13.50 R18s weren't too much lighter than what I have now and haven't had any front end issues in the few years I've owned it.
But, I would like to upgrade to heavy duty tie rod ends (Cognito mabye?).
I say go for it as I see the 100% new quantities dwindling rapidly.

They look great, but I don't think I could lift the spare onto the swingarm.
I should weight one of my stock rims+35's to see how much of a difference it really is.

I'm curious as to the weight also.
If putting onto a rear carrier, you'll definitely need an extra set of hands. My last 37" spare WAS on the cargo rack. Notice there is NO spare on there now. That would probably cave my roof in!

Re: 16.5" H1 HMMWV wheels installed
Is there anything else needed to fit these besides a mild lift? Any kind of spacer or adapter needed?

I'm pretty sure that my 37x12.5 BFG MTs on stock rims weighed in at 122 lbs., so the stock ATs should be less...prolly like 115 or so.
