If this forum was all facts, and helpful information you wouldnt have Hummer Haters like me who decided to stick around for 3+ years. Not sure if that is a good thing, or a bad thing. Just thinking out loud I guess.

Happy belated 3 year anniversary Shagster </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Hehe...thanks.

Open discussions are what makes this place interesting. Without it, you're left with the lowest common denominator...vanilla posts. And if that's what you want, then there's already a bunch of those out there.

I agree that there is good info here and have said as much.

I also think it is fine that this is a community...I have met many people from the other site I help run and have become friends with many of them over the years. But the way we deal with the "off topic suff" is by having a seperate area for smack. For example, the People who really want to talk about the team have an area to do that. Those who want to talk about other things and bitch slap eachotehr go to a diffeent part o fthe forum...works great there. That site had over 2000 members before we udgraded the sofware and booted out the ones who hadn't posted for a long time...it is building up again.

Anyway. I realize there are a lot of ways to have fun on different forums. I am not one who thinks it is fun to bash the newbies or the less informed. However, some people just plain deserve it as well. I guess that is why I am a moderator over there.

But this is not my site and I will keep coming here for the info. I am also sure I will get along great in a social setting with most here when we meet. I jsut come off as a little reserved online.......becaseu I don't want my mommy to wash my mouth out with soap.

Thank you BeBe for the cute little guy, . I think I ran over his sister this morning and let my dog chase his dad last night. I can now live the rest of my days knowing that you do think of me when I am not around, thank you.

LOL,
No, I do not want to be a moderator here. Don't care that much. I originally was just tryin to help woody, see where that got me? He hasn't even posted in the past 4 pages yet I am still trying to help.

The only Reason I am a moderaotr on the GB Packer Website is because I grew up there and have a lot of "inside" connections. That site has been thriving for 6 years now.

Whinning? Not at all.

PF, those of us that have been around for a while use an area called General Off Topic. The crier could have started his ranting there, but he didn't.

Thanks, See what having a helpful nature does for a guy?

Let me try a new approach. Kiss my ass and if you don't like it go to hell.

Is that better.

BTW, if you want to shorten my name most places I am known as Fever. but you can call me most anything you wish......or is that opening a can of worms too?

oh yeah, to hell with woody too!

WOW,

1797 posts is the record according to ShaggyX (almost my I.Q.)

Sounds like 1700 posts to many, musta been talking bout SEX.

No, really - exchange of ideas is GREAT but one MUST acknowledge when one is wrong or assumed something that was mistaken.

Had a disagreement with f5 once, we both appoliged in private and that was that I value his knowledge.

Anyway seems this post is goin on and on and on...

just my opinion

RYD

ps:
buy the way i'm shootin 4 over 13000...
