why would a metal valve stem cap bond to the valve stem ? I ask this because I DO have metal caps on my valve stems and I have not had a problem so far. Is this something that happens over a long period of time ?

not sure. if you keep the metal caps just snug enough to stay on you should be ok. it appears that maybe the aluminum of the stem coorodes inside the metal cap and they form a "bond" and when you go to twist of the cap, the stem goes with it.

Are the tps units the same from year to year? I have an 07, but have come across a set from an 06 H3. Will they work?
