FYI - Camping is available on the Penn's Cave grounds during the Hummer Club, Inc.'s rally for event participants only. Camping is allowed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. The fee is $10.00 per unit (RV or trailer or tent) for the weekend. Just check-in at the Penn's Cave
Visitor's Center upon arrival on Friday (10/14/05).

NOTE 1: Penn's Cave hosts two other non off-road events each year in which attendee's will arrive and camp for the weekend in their RV campers, trailer campers, or by tent. There are "no" RV hookups for electric etc etc., however, there are outdoor restrooms available 24/7 (with hot/cold running water in them - no showers). Also, the ground's rules only allow for gas or charcoal grills - camp fires are NOT permitted. For those of you who enjoy a nice warm camp fire during the cool crisp autumn evenings, remember on Saturday night, dessert will be served while everyone is relaxing at the bonfire.

NOTE 2: The block of rooms that are reserved for Hummer Club, Inc. members at the Hilton Garden Inn in State College, PA [(814) 272-1221], will be released back to the general public in the middle of September - after 9/13/05. So ,, please make your reservations as soon as possible.

Also ,, for anyone interested in "local formal campgrounds" near the Penn's Cave location - check out http://www.visitpennstate.org . Once you are on the Penn State homepage, click on the hotel / lodging button for a listing of the many campgrounds in the area.

See you in October at THCI's "Howling Wolf" Mountain Run !!!
