Default Alphas first time on OBX

Here's some shots of this weekend out on the outerbanks of NC. God do those extra 80 ponies make a huge difference in the sand. 60 degrees and sunny all weekend. Hot lil lady for accompanyment. Full tank of gas. Half pack of cigarettes, and we're wearing dark glasses. What could go wrong?

I must say the suspension seems much smoother than the 06 I drove prior to the Alpha.

Ok. last one. A little better shot of the Hammerhead. Someone had already cut his jaws out or they would have been mine. Hope you like the pics!

Excellent pictures! Thanks for sharing. But you should know better than to mention a "hot lil lady" and not provide lifesized photos for everyone to slobber over!!

BTW, great looking H3 you got there!!

Sweet. Email me when you're gonna be down, and we might already be at the beach. It's funny that you just don't see hardly any hums on the banks. Lots of the trucks kinda smerk at us when they see us in the Red Drum getting bait. That is until we go cruisen down the beach.

I can't tell you how many trucks I've pulled out of soft sand. It's crazy if you have to call a tow truck. $360 just to get pulled out of a soft spot. Speaking of which, I almost sh*t a brick in july. The shift pin in my T case snapped for some unexplained reason, and we were stuck with 1 wheel drive. Luckily we were able to limp off the beach, but the pucker factor SUCKED!

We plan on heading down on Christmas again so we'll post some more pics if they're good.

Wish me luck on catching some bigguns! Fish, not traffic fines.

We were just down there in October around Halloween. Did not see one Hummer the entire time. Loved Oregan inlet, and Corolla. WIll post some pics here. The one below is from July... the sand was HOT and deep. Saw a Toyota truck and a Wrangler get stuck.
