HOPE (Hummer Owners Prepared for Emergencies)

i figure i'm already in the medical profession and now i have a hummer...why not have the red cross pay for me to learn how to drive off-road better and volunteer for disaster relief!!!

it looks like a very good program. I will probably get more info after I move, and buy my Hummer. I would love an H2 SUT, but The H3 is easier on the wallet with the sticker, and gas

The Red Cross doesn't pay for anything, you do. It's a volunteer situation. Since you are in the medical profession you probably already have your normal CPR/First Aid requirments as a volunteer for the Red Cross. You'll also have to join The Hummer Club, Inc., pay something like $50 to the Red Cross to join the HOPE program, go to one of The Hummer Club, Inc. off-road events and pay and participate in their HOPE certification. There's a few other minor things but that is most of it.
