I've bought several trucks from them, but I didn't buy the H2 there. At the time they were not a Hummer dealer, so I ended up at Dew Cadillac in St. Pete. They were excellent.

I know lots of people at Nimnicht, mostly in service. They have the best Corvette mech and the best service mgr. in Jax. I'm just getting the Hummer guys over there broken in. I wouldn't go anywhere for service.

I'd order the H2 with the accessories YOU want. If not they'll load it up with evrything in the house.

I hope U get one..I know you're going to love it.

Buddy

Buddy, thanks for the input...did you mean you wouldn't go anywhere but to Nimnnicht for service?...see your post. Sounds good to me...would you still advise me to buy despite the recent front end problems?...safety is always a concern, this'll be a family vehicle. Thanks again. Ed

Ed,

Mine on order is to haul my family also. But when they are not with me I wanted to get the rush of 100+ mph. That pic has me doing some serious thinking. (I crashed a vette doing 110 and only got a broken arm) fortunately it started spinning to the right and the left rear qtr panel hit stationary light pole & I was thrown out the opened drivers door. God wanted me to stick around and have the 5 kids that I didn't have back then! They all can't wait for this "monster truck" as they refer to it....to get delivered!

Mambodoc,

Sorry, I need to read before I post. I did mean, I wouldn't go anywhere else for service, that includes my other GM vehicles. I can't speak for other customers, but they've always provided me with great service.

I think the front failure is a fluke and will pass.

Buddy

Clay,

You can't go past 97 MPH on an H2 bec there is a gas cut off for safety reasons...and power will return once MPH is less then 97...so you will not be able to get a rush going 100+++ bec it won't be possible...if you modify the engine or adjust the computer, fuses, etc., that is another story...but stock will not happen. Sorry...

Ed,

I haven't cancelled the order yet! Sometimes I just have a hard time on purchases of items I just really don't NEED. What about you ...have you decided ?

RPV... Well I'll (almost) get there huh ??
Seriously though... I'll save that speed for my car.
