Funny you said that HummBebe - testing the flex on a rock this past weekend I climbed it a little too easy and over shot the target and ended up in a bad angle, tried to reverse getting off of the rock and POP!! Snapped my CV joint!! the shaft stayed in tack but the joint cracked like a eggshell!! We yanked out the shaft so I could drive it home, the new axle assembly is coming in tomorrow; we will install it on Saturday and it's back on the trails on Sunday
- the cool thing the lift handled like a champ on the trails, the angle I was in would pop any CV joint in my opinion

Mike and his H2 winched me back over - check out the flex from behind!:

Wrenching on the trails - quick fix, and I'm off...

Thanks bro - it will be entered in Motor Trend's 2007 First Hawaiian Auto Show in March, so I will have to refrain myself from getting it dirty

Thanks!! Tip? With the lift you definitely need spotters, you can't see crap anywhere, it was bad before but even worst with the lift Tight squeeze here, if not for Chad I would've definitely take off my review mirrors - I did make it through without a scratch though

Truck looks great BTW.

Or get it dirty as shiate and only wash one side real good and leave the other side alone.

Where in HI are you, I used to work for T&C Surf.

Looks great!

I was one of the first Rancho lifted H3's. The guys that did the install had some issues with it. A couple of things to check out is the the way the ride height is set up. Make sure they didn;t crank the T bars all the way up with the lift. I had the same rims you have but in all black and had issue with hitting the steering knuckle when aired down at the wrong angle. (17") It seems the ones I have seen with the 18" setup have been fine. I know that with the proper offest wheel and tire setup that H3 has great AP and DP angles. Also check out how far your bumpstops are form touching in the front. That's how I found out the Tbars were cranked all the way. There's nithing wuite like hitting the brakes hard on the highway and the front dips down a foot.

Good luck with it! It looks great BTW!

How does it ride for you at highway speeds?
