I noticed some grease under the boot on the drivers side of the drive shaft. Its the boot closest to the wheel hub. I removed the metal band and installed a new one. I didnt see any cuts in the boot. However about 3 months later when I changed the oil I saw the grease again. Has anybody had any problems with theirs leaking? Thanks.

Just for clarification purposes, that would be called a halfshaft. The drive shaft is the one that goes from your transfer case to your front/rear axle. No, it is not common to have the boots repeatedly leak. You may not have the clamp tight enough. Where did you buy the clamp, and how did you tighten it? The factory clamps needs a special tool to tighten them.
