Default Help with lights on gobi rack

I'm installing the lights on the stealth rack and I cant figure out what the small aluminum plates are for that came bolted to the rack. Do I use these for something besides small projectiles???

Those plates are used to mount the PIAA 1500XT's. It will center them between the bars and allow for the fairing to fit below the lights.

You should have been provided screws (already in those blocks) to mount your lights.

Hope this helps.

I have been looking at the stealth rack. What I can't tell from the pictures is how deep it is for the basket. It looks like only about two inches but it may be more? Thanks,
