Has anyone powdercoated their wheels?? I am interested indoing a set black.

How did they look?
Is it durable?
Is it better done on one-type of material/finish or another?

Thanx

SRFCASTR.........Here's a shot of one of my wheels.....powdercoated and been offroad with no problems...cost was $100/wheel. I was told to use a polished wheel rather than a chromed or coated wheel.....you also want to use new wheels if possible before any brake dust is on them, otherwise you're going to have to pay some $$$ to have them cleaned....

Nice wheels!!!

Which wheel is this (manufacturer & model)?

Is there some powder coating standard that is more durable?

Wheels are American Racing's Atlas model....
You're one question beyond my knowledge, I just told the powdercoater how I wanted to use the wheels off road and they indicated no problem.....

Cheers
