Default Installing Factory Nav in 08 H2, what all do i need?

So I bought a oem nav head unit and nav disc. My 08 did not come with nav from the factory. Prior to purchasing I spoke with the parts manager at the dealer and he told me that was all I'd need.

well, after going in for programming today and not having the nav working they now tell me I may need additional components.

I do not want their advise or help help anylonger. What else do I need. I've found I may need a GPS antenna, and I'm not sure about this one....a VSS wire?!?

I'm mechanically inclined and my unit has already been programmed for my vehicle, can I do this myself?

THANKS!!!
CHRIS

Yes but you might need a tech 2 to finalize installation.

Contact the dealership to make sure that it's compatable with your options. Some 08 H2's can't have the factory nav added. Trust me, I wasted a couple of days trying to get one to work on a vehicle that didn't have the right rpo codes. The customer had to put in an aftermarket unit.
