Question GMX-550 Lockpick Video Degraded: Reverse Camera OEM

Installed the GMX-550 into 2008 H2. Install was fine once I got the Radio Trim off (UGGGGH!)

Ahyway only issue I did not wire the OEM Reverse Camera into the GMX-550 because it is a hitch camera, and no need to see this while in drive. I plan on adding another Camera in place of the middle brake light when I want to see stuff I am towing.

Problem is the Reverse Video is washed out. Believe it is an issue with the GMX-550 Video Control. Checked to see if the Wiring Harness has some shielding problem, or loose connections in the Radio or the lockpick.

Anyone heard of this problem. Got a call into Tech Support hoping I got a bad unit/wire harness.

Picture of GMX-550 connected don't even look that good.

looks like a video signal termination issue. try a 75 ohm resistor across the video input.

Hi i have a gmx550 let me know after tech support gets back to you. I have front and rear aftermarket cameras and they work great. Maybe it will only work good if its hooked up like the instructions say.
