So, I'm looking for an opinion and I was hoping there might be someone on this board who can help.

I am trading in a 2003 H2 for a new truck. The dealer has a 2005 with exactly what I want and is offering a pretty nice deal. Generally I would go for the 2006 and wait a little while.

Do any of you know the specific changes (if any) GM made between the 2005 and 2006 model year?

In addition, any thoughts on picking up a 2005 this late even with a good deal?

Thanks in advance for the insights.

Main differences are 4 yr. warranty and new side mirrors. I think the rear door handle area is slightly different as well. That's about it.

changes...mirrors and warranty. Also a new Limited edition with a flat style light bar, and hotshot, carbon fiber goodies on the dash.

Get the 05 save money now, get the shaft because it is last years value. Get the 06, get the shaft when you buy - have one year newer value. They are going to change it all in 07-08 anywho.

I had to make the same decision back in November when I traded again. I went with the '05.

longer warranty and resale value as an 06 as apposed to 05 may make the 06 worth the extra money.

Didn't ehy offer a backup cam option for the nav on the 06? Or is this going to be mid year production?
