Looking at doing lift probably rancho's and will do 35" or 37"s, does anyone know of an aftermarket locker setup? The only thing that i really like about the adventure package is the locker because ill probably change everything else out

You also get granny low 4 to 1 ratio.
I think when I bought mine they give you carpeted mats (I covered them with the mudder mats) and a left side cubby if you dont have the sub.

You can get an aftermarket locker from Eaton for about $800 (pretty sure it is the same one that is used as O.E.) If I was you save the money, buy a base, and put your savings toward the lift, aftermarket locker, tires etc.

just my 2 cents

I only paid $1,100 extra for the adventure package .
Seems like a no brainer

sounds like a good deal, I was simply comparing list prices for the H3 (base w 5 speed $29,995 vs. $32,070 for adventure package add another $1695 for the auto) it all depends where you would rather spend your money.

If you plan on doing any serious off roading what so ever, then get the adventure package! You get a better deal to do when you buy with than trying to do it later. A rear locker with a warranty is a nice thing to have versus adding one that voids your warranty!

Such as?

Unless, you're planning on swapping out the axles, getting the Adv. package is a no-brainer, and a helluva better deal than trying to piece it together aftermarket. Plus its all under warranty.

Just like Sewie, Tomp and others said, If you plan to off road the adventure is the way to go. You probably won't be planning to change the transfer case with the lift, and that gearing makes a difference off road, besides the locker.

...Just wanted to add that the lift he wants to do will make the lower TC gear even more of a reason to get the adventure package - assuming his tire diameter will increase.
