Has anybody had their low tire warning light up? I checked the tire pressure on all four and they seem to be fine. It has been raining here in the SF bay area. Did that have something to do w/ it. The warning light is off now - no more rain.

Rain will not affect the sensor, only pressures. But please remember, pressure fluctuate with temps, and even altitude to some extent. A ten degree drop in ambient temp will reduce air pressure approx. 1 lb. A rise of ten degrees will increase it by 1 lb. I also believe the higheer the altitude, the more the temps rise and fall.
The air pressure in the tires should be checked on a cold tire, which is a tire that has not been driven in at least three hours. In addition, make sure the sun is not shining on the tires. Direct sunlight can increase a tire pressure by 1-2 psi.
Best time is early in the AM, on a cloudy day.
Living here in MI, the cloudy days are common, as I am finding out. I usually check mine twice a month on Saturday or Sunday.

Mines has been on since it got below freezing. I have got use to it being on, but will have dealer recal or whatever it may need as I live in the arctic. Hard to keep going to a gas station to fill tires at 30 below zero!! Yes, I want some cheese with my whine.

The best thing to do is buy a portable air compressor and air up your tires at home on a cold morning prior to driving. It'll resolve most low pressure warnings.

I have learned to keep mine at about 40 psi, no warning light since.
