Default Steering Stabilizer

Just did 4 shock upgrade to Rancho...big difference over stock!
Went to do the steering stabilizer, but can't get one end to release! This usually only takes 10 minutes at most to do, and I'm stumped! Any suggestions???? This is for a 2007 Hummer H2.

Default Re: Steering Stabilizer

Dont know if there all the same, I have an 07 as well. It was a real pain to remove it. I used every tool in my box and cant remember what actually worked, but eventually it popped off. I think I may have used a pickle fork to pry on it.
Good Luck

Default Re: Steering Stabilizer

sprayed it down with PB Blaster and Fluid Film....waited 12 hours, and with a little pulling it popped right out!
All installed, and seems to work good. Just didn't care for the way it attached with the bracket that Rancho gives you. Seems kinda cheap. It attaches with just two small U bolts, and doesn't use the original factory hole. Haven't road tested it as of yet, but steering wheel feels better turning.
Anyone have any issues with that bracket?
