We just got a bombshell dropped on us....we're being transferred to Langley AFB in Virginia in 2 freakin months!

So - who's up in that area? I need some reassurance - there's some decent wheeling spots up there, right?

And any advice on areas to avoid housing-wise?

Wow... God works in mysterious ways...

You will be here to go to Paragon with us on either the weekend of November 5th or Nov 12th.

Should be some great wheeling and also some great fall colors.

Given the rain we're getting there should be no shortage of mud either.

Ken P lives near you (I think) and he meets us up at Paragon. You'll love it.

Remember, change is good.

Stacy, we can't wait to meet you! We're in VA Beach.

I have a great friend that works at Langley and a few that work at Newport News Shipyard.

When are you coming to check the area out? We'll be more than glad to show you around.

Don't move to Newport News or Hampton. They're not very nice places. You could live in Williamsburg, Suffolk... Lots of places with reasonable commutes.

PM Susan and I and we'll help you out. Welcome to the Commonwealth.

Actually, you might get that chance Efrain....we're staying put. Typical military - they threw a wrench in the deal and we were somehow able to get out by deploying instead. Would have extended our committment by a year....no way.

Thanks for the offer of help tho Ken. Still looks like a nice place to live.
