I spoke with my accessory supplier today regarding the availability of the Rough Country lift. He tells me there will be 3 different lifts available. A 3in. lift that uses the original shaft, a 5in. that uses the original shaft, and a 5in. that uses a new shaft made by Rough Country. Has anyone heard of more than 1 lift being offered. About a month b4 they will be available but he said a group discount of 10 or more and he would take 10% off the price of each lift and raffle off coupons for an additional 5% off to 3 of those customers. Rough country is not sure of the pricing yet so neither is he but all the parts on your truck apparently stay stock.
Kinda sounds like a commercial doesn't it. No I don't work for any of them. Any thoughts?

First thought......this taking too damn long.

Second thought....why not just go direct to RC? RCs site offers package deals. Gonna need a set of 37's. Maybe overall they will be cheaper.

Interesting thought Edd, I doubt if they could give a discount without pissing off their suppliers, but your right, maybe for the whole package it would be cheaper. It will be interesting to see. And your right, It's taking too long. Hopefully though any problems are being worked out now and not after the lift is on our trucks I'm thinking the 3 inch lift would be nice with 35s.

I like the idea of the 3" lift. It sounds perfect.

I emailed RC about the 3" lift. If they reply, I'll post it up here.

Rough Country has got some info on the 5" suspension lift on their website:

H3 Suspension Lift

Quote:
Give your H3 the off road stance it deserves. This suspension package sets itself apart with a superior 3D computer aided design and precision laser cut parts. The kit incorporates Rough Country’s revolutionary NTD (non-torsion bar drop) technology, keeping the torsion bars in their stock location and maintaining their stock range of motion. This allows the H3 to have unmatched ground clearance while maintaining factory handling. The new race inspired CV shafts allow the differential to stay stock, so the H3 will be able to go back to stock as easily as it was to lift. This is the only lift kit on the market that allows you to run factory wheels with larger tires.

Included in this kit are upper control arms, precision machined and powder coated knuckles, high angle heavy duty CV shafts, laser cut front and rear cross members, a bottom skid plate, shackles, rear leaf springs, and shocks. The kit was designed to retain the factory H3 front skid plate, (without cutting or trimming) for easy access during oil changes. The H3 kit maintains the factory driveline, and rack and pinion location. And best of all there is no cutting, drilling or welding. Installation is a breeze in 5-6 hours. The H3 kit allows ample clearance for 37” tires with no trimming of the front bumper.
