When you hooked up your 8" subs and amp, did you keep your stock amp to power the other speakers?

If so, where did you get your signal for the sub-amp from?

I just recently installed two JL 12" and a MTX amp to power the subs. I used the monsoon amp to power the doors. I tapped the front side of the amp to power the amp. Be sure to use a low level adapter that will allow for input adjustment.

This setup hit incredibly hard. SPL is hurtful LOL
