Default FS: Headrest DVD system, Tuffy mats, K&N cold air intake

H3 Husky Liner slush mats in black. Used, but great condition. 2 front, 1 piece rear.

(pics are from an H2, but are similar to actual mats.)

K&N cold air intake & filter. Used, but like new condition.

Have the Invision Revolution II in black leather w/ pewter piping. These were installed at the dealer. What is nice about these besides they are factory, is that each player can watch a different dvd or they both can watch the same dvd. MP3 compatible and video game inputs. Like new condition, used only 2 trips/vacations. 2 headrests w/ players, 2 wireless headphones, wiring harness, manual, & GM installation instructions. Retail price is stupid (+$3000), and they are going for $1400+ on eBay.

Buyer pays shipping. Shipping from 81301 (I will be in SoCal/Apple Valley next week and can bring them). Paypal only (need money NOW), so make me an offer on this stuff.

Yzer,

What direction are you going to go now? Are you selling the 3?

What a loaded question. Sad to say my 3 is gone. I bought it for my wife as a replacement for her Suburban and the interior room has always been an issue with her. I bought it for her with all of the hoopla that women love to have in a vehicle. Power everything, leather, sunroof, etc. I would have loved throwing a lift and 35's and used it as my daily driver but...

Here in wonderful Durango Colorado where liberal greenies are like weeds, we have had the 3 attacked on several occasions with people sticking liberal decals on it, spitting on it, flipping us off or yelling obscenities at us, and the straw that broke the camels back was a guy literally leaning out of his Subaru (complete with bike on top) and pointing his finger at her like it was a gun and shooting at her as she drove by him on her way home from work one day. He then followed up with a finger as he laughed and drove off. I felt that it was just a matter of time before I was dishing out some insurance deductible for slashed tires, a keyed paint job, or broken windows.

I already have a J**p that I use as an offroad toy only and a nice truck so I felt it was time to trade in the 3 and get her something else new and nice. I have access to the GM family discount and my family has bought from the same dealer for the past decade so I traded it in for a new Silverado crew cab 4x4. It will be less conspicuous in this area as trucks are about 40% of the vehicles driven around here and the liberal pansies hopefully won't mess with it. Funny but the 5.3L V8 in the Silverado gets better mileage and has a ton more power than the I5 in the 3. Why the hell GM won't ante up for the H3 across the board (as in all models, not just a Lux'ed out Alpha) is beyond me!

For those interested, the trade in value for my loaded 3 with almost 20,000 miles on the odometer and with the Lux and Adventure package was $25,500. Sticker was a hair under $42k and with the GM discount I paid a little over $32. So it cost me $7000 to drive it the past year and a half. In addition to the Adventure & Lux packages, it came with crome side steps, the crome accessory package (door handles, gas cover, etc.) and a brush guard. I yanked out the dealer installed dvd players in hopes to put them in the Silverado (looks like they'd fit fine but the leather is different and my wife doesn't like it). They only added $300 to the trade and since they were dealer installed, were not on the original invoice. The K&N and Husky liners I added and since I keep everything, pulled them as well figuring somebody here could use them and I could maybe get some $$ back for upgrades for the Silverado. I will say that we are a lot happier traveling in the 4 door truck as there is an incredible amount of room inside as compared to the 3. It is faster, can tow more, is more fuel efficient, and bigger. I hauled out my trailer with a couple of ATV's out with the 3 and back with the Silverado and guess the weight to be right around 2200 lbs. The difference was incredible, both in milage and performance. Since this vehicle will be used as my wifes daily driver and for family vacation trips, I feel I made the right choice. I know it is apples to oranges and the some of you will say I threw in the towel. To that I'll admit that I did but believe me when I say I would have lost my job for bashing in some ass-clowns' skull, that it was a decision I made for my family that I'll stick by. I won't miss what and absolute beotch it was to keep clean living on dirt country roads! I will miss the 4:1 transfer case and the push button locker, but am hopeful that I'll be able to pick up a high milage used Adventure package within a few years to have as an offroad toy. GM really needs to get their head out of their ass and market the 3 to the offroad community like (dare I say it?) Toyota has with their FJ. Having wheeled in both, the H3 is far superior yet the aftermarket doesn't even know it exists. But, until the price on used ones comes down more, I'll stick with my J**p. I can buy a locked & loaded J**p for a third of the price of a 3 and they are the bell of the aftermarket's ball.

I can only hope that the Hummer team wins the Dakar and that the press starts to gush all over the 3 like they do the FJ. Until then, it will continue to be the modern day Edsel.

Man, that's too bad.

I've never gotten any attitude from like that from anybody in traffic. Maybe that leaf licking ass-clown in the Subaru hooptie, is only brave enough to flip off chicks.

Good Luck to ya man, maybe I'll see ya in the San Juans.

You ever head over to wheel, drop me an email (that is if you don't mind slumming with a J**p!)

The area has had quite a few "attacks" on Hummers. In the fall of last year a H1 Alpha that was here for the Hummer Club runs was keyed quite badly and another H2 had all four tires slashed. The only saving grace was that a hotel worker saw the drunk sob do it. He was stupid enough to slash a couple, then go back and slash the rest and was arrested. Wierd thing was the guy was from Texas and was in his late 50's. Both his son and him confessed to the police their hatred for Hummers. $10,000 bond. I have no tolerance for idiots like that, doesn't matter if it is my vehicle or not.
