This must be a Pitre only deal that Hummer has given them, cause I have talked to all the H2 dealers here in Houston and they all said no deal... That maybe you can get $500 if lucky, but you can get $1000 if you trade your H2 in on something other than a Hummer...

Bad,

Gm will give you a $1000.00 toward a new Hummer if you are a previous owner of a Hummer. that is on top of any discounts that a dealer may give you. This is good at every GM dealer. $1000.00 toward a same brand trade at any GM dealer ie,Chevy to Chevy,GMC to GMC ect. Just got two letters yesterday from GM for my GMC and my Hummer. Now go get a new one dude!!! remember white is always right!! BIG-C

The owner loyality rebate is 750.00 if you have any gm product and purchase an H2. Even if you don't trade it. If your dealer doesn't know about it then don't buy from them! Buy an H2 from me at invoice plua $500 in the month of August! Check it out

Is the $750 owners loyality rebate different in of itself or is that amount taken off of the trade in?

My question is this I own a 96 Impala SS and I want to trade it in..would I still be able to get the full trade in value or would $750 be taken off the top immediately?

Thanks and I'm hoping to get a H2 when the 2004 models hit the showroom floors..

Ok here is the deal...
I was present when this converstion took place and they said that the loyalty cash is for eveything except H2 to H2 and I heard that from GM of HUMMER DIVISIONAL SALES. He is in charge of pricing, rebates, incentives and everything to do with buying a Hummer, H1 or H2. They said that this is a rumor, not sure how it got started, but NO DEALER ANYWHERE can offer 1000 cash, unless they are paying it out of their own pockets. We all know that is not happening. So I say once again, if you trade an H2 in on anything you will get cash back, EXCEPT the H2... Just repeating what I was told by GM from Dealership, and GM from Hummer Sales....

Also, confirmed with HUMMER on the phone:

$750 loyalty does not apply towards HUMMER.

ie. if you have a chevy truck and you're trading it in on H2, the 750 does NOT apply.

Amazing how The Hummer Salesman never responded to this claim of the cash offer.... Just curious whether or not he ever found out that he was wrong??
