Question ebay'd h1s

So I know everyone looks over ebay on a regular basis for hummer stuff. Has anyone seen the price of used h1s? I mean good lord they're just rediculously cheap for the most part! Any thoughts about this? The average is what you get a new h2 for or cheaper. Even if you spent 6 or 7k on a new enginemost are still great deals. Are most of these just abused? Let me know your thoughts.

The biggest issue involving H1's are really the depreciation hit.

Great example. There was an ad in today's Phoenix paper for a 2003 H1, low miles, $58k. That same truck went for over 100k (list), and likely sold for 90k to it's first owner.

When the truck gets a bit older, the pricing settles down quite a bit. There's no way (unless I hit a big lucky streak) that I would be able to get another 97.5 or newer truck for under 30k, for example.

With the announcement of GM and AMG halting production of the Alpha, you'll likely see the price dip a bit, then rebound back up higher than where it used to be.

That's pretty much the case with any higher priced vehicle though right.
