Default Has anyone lowered their H3?

I've noticed that Ground Force has a kit out there for the H3.

http://www.groundforce.com/hummer%20h3/

While it takes out some of the ruggedness of the vehicle, it may be a solution for reducing the wheelwell height for those running 22's.

Has anyone use this kit or lowered their H3 yet? I would love to see pics and here about the ride.

Thanks in advance.

No. Why ruin a perfectly good HUMMER?

Some may want a more street look perhaps. It's good to see that there are at least options and accessories out there for those that do want it.

Nice avatar!

I saw one at the dealer. Not my style, but it didn't look too bad.

But personally, I think its a waste of an awesome 4wd vehicle. Stick to the Escalades and Navigators. Leave our poor Hummers alone.

Can't say I've ever had the... um, honor to attend, but from the Stallions point of view this has got to suck!

But yes, we are in agreement... Its just a wrong, evil thing to do to a perfectly fine H3.

Even though that H3 is 95% blacked out...it still looks BLINGED to me.

I've seen two H2's lowered, not H3's. Both times they came up alongside me. It was creepy... they seemed lower than me in my H3. The frame was too boxy to be so close to the ground. Made it look like something from a 40's/50's movies. Not a good look, in my opinion. But, hey, to each they own .. or however that saying goes!

MMMM, I think you are too sympathetic, or, more attached to your**** than they are.

But yes, we are in agreement. Why not just buy a scion?

The dealer here lowers H3's 3 inches. Not bad looking with 22's. That's a lot of wheel travel to give up on the street and especially offroad just to get the look.

Thumbs up Re: Has anyone lowered their H3?

I just had my H3 lowered. I went with the Ground Effect Rear Lowering kit. Dropped it 2". Still lots of space around the wheel to give it a "raised" look. The ride is still good. Other than it looking level it still has the H3 look.

Thanks for the response here Groundpounder! Any pics of your ride? Would you say that the ride is better or worse than stock?
