Default buttons and knobs lost finish

the lady that owned the h2 before me liked to have long finger nails so as a result some of the dash knobs and switches have the black finish worn away to the white pastic base colour . any tips on what i can use to paint them black again?

Try a black sharpie pen I used one on my TNR-800 Nav System
