I hope you don't plan on driving your H2 to any secure areas, such as a Government Facility or airport!

The first search you are subjected to will not be a happy one.

It's a shame, but that is the way it is in today's world...

That's actually pretty cool looking!
How much?
How difficult is it to install?
I'm not actually asking a particular person, just anyone that might know.

$449.00 from Lynch Hummer's accessory site.

http://www.h2parts.com/

It can be found under the following directory:
Catagory: H2 Interior
Item: H2 Misc. Interior

Don't have one myself...I was shopping this site and saw it. Pretty unique.

2004 Yellow Lux H2 w/Sunroof & Navigation.
Mods include...Corsa Sport, 20% tint, chrome door sills/hood handles/hood latches/side air vents/bumper inserts.

I would adivse caution in this type of thing. Let me explain brifly why. In 1991 I was a police officer. I made a traffic stop late one night on a 19 year old kid that had a similar item as a gear shift knob. Without details, he made a sudden move toward this item after being warned 2 times to be still. I, with a lifetime of regret, shot, and killed this poor man over a "novilty" item when he failed to obey my instructions. He was just a nervous kid that had a little pot in his car and was having a difficult time concentrating. Though it was ruled as a "clean shoot" (in cop lingo that means I was found to be within the limits of my capacity of a peace officer given the scenario) both his family and I suffer from a gag type item. Todays times make this even worse. If you choose something like this, PLEASE use caution. Sorry to have to have shared this with any of you but I thought this was a good thread to do so on.

Yep... How times change. It seems incredible that Chrysler actually sold cars from the factory with "Pistol Grip Shifter" handles 30 years ago.

Chrome grenades.....whats next? While it may be cool looking I think it would be a little juvenile to put something like that in your H2. If the reasons above aren't enough to change your mind remember this, it will only be a matter of time before some thieving **** sees it in your vehicle and breaks out a window to steel it.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, James.

That helps prove we all should remember to follow directions given to us by police officers. Especially in todays more violent world.

Why would anyone want something that could possibly cause an officer to more nervous than normal is beyond me.
