Default Duramax inquiry

Hello, Terry Adams here. I have owned H1's for several years. I currently have a 2006 Alpha. I would appreciate any feedback concerning the deisel enhancers that are available that will boost horsepower and help with fuel economy. Some big names are Bully dog and Interceptor. I would love some expertise or experiences from anyone.

Terry

I have a superchip for my duramax but really i wouldn't recomend it. it has 3 setting and the higher you go in power the better fuel you get. the problem with that is on the top level for my truck it adds about 120hp more and the tranny is said to only take 90-85hp more.
i have a problem with shifting but i thinks it's due to the fact that i have the 6 speed allison. i tried on my dads 5 speed allison (like the one in the h1 alpha) and it shifted great. go to www.dieselplace.com those guys will answer all your questions

I like everything banks.

Also look into injecting propane. It'll get you more power and mileage but the cost of propane will offset savings in diesel so you'll spend the same or more on fuel if you're worried about that. Its a very simple install too.

thanks for the info. the propane is something that a friend has done. I don't think it is for me. appreciate the expertise.
