So i brought her in to CARMAX to get a free appraisal. Took 30 min, and they're supposed to give you the MOST money for your vehicle.
I was looking to get maybe something like 30-32k. NOPE.
They offered me 22K for my baby. I said HELL NO and walked out the door. That's ridiculous. I can't believe how much the economy is affecting the values on the H2's.
It's seriously becoming a lot harder to find a buyer who's willing to pay a good price for these things....sigh......
Black 05 Hummer H2. (STILL WORKING ON IT!)

Carmax offers only low dealer auction value for trade ins. That means 05 H2's are going for dealer auctions at 20-22k.
I'm seeing 03 H2's selling for $20,000, and I'm starting to see 05 H2's for $25,000 on used lots and craigslist.
I talked to one guy at a car lot in Burbank who had 4 H2's on his lot and he told me I could have any color/combination of equipment I wanted. He had 20 more in a backlot and he can't sell them.
You won't get anything for the aftermarket accessories, no one is going to pay the premium for it, they'll finance a stock truck and do the add on's themselves.
It's a really bad time to sell an H2 right now.
